Description

Nup160 and Nup96 (components of the Nup107-160 nucleoporin complex) localize at spindle poles during mitosis in HeLa cells whereas Nup93 and Nup62 (nucleoporins absent from the Nup107-160 complex)do not. See Fig 2C in Orjalo et al. 2006 Mol Biol Cell 17:3806-3818.

Technical Details

Cultured HeLa cells were permeabilized, fixed with methanol at -20C for 10 min and processed for immunofluorescence microscopy and recorded using a Zeiss Axioskop microscope.
